What an amazing trip with Captain Mike and in water Guide Michelle. We originally had a scallop trip booked but with bad water conditions they still happened to make our trip a success! We got to snorkel a few springs and made so many memories that we won’t forget. This was an experience that I will cherish forever each spring we went to
What an amazing trip with Captain Mike and in water Guide Michelle. We originally had a scallop trip booked but with bad water conditions they still happened to make our trip a success! We got to snorkel a few springs and made so many memories that we won’t forget. This was an experience that I will cherish forever each spring we went to was different and unique. Michelle was so wonderful with taking pictures and videos for us we now have those to relive our fun trip snorkeling in the springs. We can’t wait to go on another trip with them in the future to make more memories and bring some friends and family along. Captain Mike was awesome at taking us to the different spring’s and making sure we were having a good time. They both really made our experience amazing!

We did a day of scalloping with @captaindirtymike and Jacob. The day of scalloping did not disappoint. He knew right where to find them and everyone had an awesome day. These two couldn’t be more friendly and as a fellow midwesterner, loved Mikes’s midwestern roots! It was an awesome day on the water. We will be back!

Our scallop trip was unfortunately redirected due to weather. But let me say, that did not stop them from trying to offer the best experience to what’s available in Crystal River.
For our trip we were a little unfortunate to be late in the scallop season and only a few days of Hurricane Debby passing through with more inclement weather
Our scallop trip was unfortunately redirected due to weather. But let me say, that did not stop them from trying to offer the best experience to what’s available in Crystal River.
For our trip we were a little unfortunate to be late in the scallop season and only a few days of Hurricane Debby passing through with more inclement weather following during our trip.
The in gentleman at the front desk informed us of the conditions before hand and let us know what to expect based on incoming reports.
We were so fortunate to be paired up With Captain Mike and In Water Guide Michelle.
These guys definitely exceeded the bar of adaptability and service. They gave us a list of options and were still willing to go full send if we decided to brave the weather conditions to go scalloping. We made the better of the decisions to do a springs adventure with detailed explanations and help from Captain Mike and Guide Michelle to come to that decision.
Let me tell you, I’ve swam in springs before and after you’ve visited a few, the expectations become the same. But these two really set the experience apart from your average springs trip. The two really tried to make sure we got the value for our experience and they definitely delivered and accommodated.
Captain Mike was a phenomenal Captain putting his local knowledge to use. Even in the chaos of the circumstances to include boat traffic and foul weather this man had a great attitude with a calm and Interactive demeanor. You couldn’t have asked for a better skilled and accommodating Captain. Him and Michelle made a great team.
You couldn’t have asked for a better In Water Guide than Michelle. She made us feel at home. Kept the information flowing and was just an all around pleasant person to be around. Once we got in the water, her magic really shined. From guiding us, keeping us out of harms way, keeping us informed of what to expect, and just taking us to everything we could possibly see she really delivered. Something I wasn’t prepared for is just how quick she adapted. As soon as we said okay let’s 86 the scallop trip and just go get wet. She made sure we had all the right gear to include her photography skills. Too often me and the wife are so involved in our adventures we don’t have time to record, photograph or document these trips let alone from an underwater perspective. But Michelle got all these wonderful moments and then some.
Our experience with both Mike and Michelle really made the trip worth it for us.
I don’t feel I captured everything and every way these guys made the trip enjoyable. But thank you, and thanks for the recommendations Mike and Michelle and making our trip enjoyable.
